Smart TV IPTV setup: Samsung & LG
No box needed — the app installs straight on the telly.
Open the TV's app store
On Samsung it is the Apps tile, on LG it is the LG Content Store. Search for IBO Player, Smart IPTV or Net IPTV and install one.
Note the MAC address
The app shows a MAC address on its first screen. Send us that number on WhatsApp — most smart TV players are activated against it.
We load your playlist
We add your line to the app's portal and tell you when it is ready. You restart the app and the channels appear.

The most flexible option, and the one with the best apps.
Install a player
For TiviMate setup or IPTV Smarters Pro setup, install the app from the Google Play Store. Both are in the store on Android TV, so nothing has to be sideloaded.
Add your playlist
Choose Xtream Codes and enter the server URL, username and password we sent. Or paste the M3U link if you prefer.
Sort your favourites
Once the guide loads, mark RTÉ, Virgin, TG4 and your sport channels as favourites so they sit at the top.

Install the app
On the App Store, get IPTV Smarters Pro or XCIPTV. On Apple TV, the same apps appear in the tvOS store.
Sign in with Xtream Codes
Enter the server URL, username and password. Nothing else needs changing.

Pick a player
IPTV Smarters has a desktop version for Windows and Mac. VLC also plays an M3U link if you want something simpler.
Load your details
Xtream Codes in Smarters, or open the M3U link in VLC through Media then Open Network Stream.
Full screen it
Both players run full screen, so an old laptop plugged into a monitor makes a decent second telly.

The old reliable — nothing to install, it just boots into the channel list.

It is printed on the sticker underneath the box. Send us a photo of it on WhatsApp.
We register it
We add the MAC to the portal and send you the portal URL.

Settings, then System settings, then Servers and Portals. Paste the URL, save, and restart the box.

What login details will I get?
A server URL, a username and a password (Xtream Codes), and an M3U link if your app prefers that. MAG boxes get a portal URL instead, once you send us the MAC address.
Which app should I use?
TiviMate if you want the best TV guide, IPTV Smarters Pro if you want the simplest setup, IBO Player on smart TVs and older sticks. Tell us the device and we will say which one we would use.
Can I use the same login on two devices?
Only if you are on a 2 or 3-device plan. On a single-device plan the second stream will stop the first.
Do I need a VPN?
No. The service runs over normal Irish home broadband with nothing extra installed.
What speed do I need?
About 15 Mbps is fine for HD and roughly 25 Mbps for 4K. If the line dips in the evening, we can point the app at a lower stream.

How do I set up IPTV on a Smart TV without a box?
On a Samsung or LG, install IBO Player, Smart IPTV or Net IPTV from the TV's own app store, send us the MAC address the app shows on its first screen, and we load your playlist against it. No Firestick and no Android box needed.
